Ohmtech has been acquired by Intergraph
On Thursday, 19 March 2015 Intergraph® announced the acquisition of OhmTech A/S. This acquisition combines the strengths of Intergraph Process, Power & Marine (PP&M), the world leader in enterprise engineering and design solutions, with the innovation of OhmTech.
Visual Vessel Design software complements the capabilities and global acceptance of Intergraph PV Elite®, Intergraph’s complete solution for vessel and heat exchanger design, analysis and evaluation. Click here for more information on PV Elite and here for more information on additional Intergraph CADWorx and Analysis Solutions.
Both companies see this as an opportunity to grow the adoption of both PV Elite and Visual Vessel Design solutions in the engineering enterprise and to continue the expansion of our products throughout the process, power, and marine industries.
For users of VVD and clients of OhmTech, it is Intergraph’s top priority to uphold the technical capabilities, reliability, and outcomes that you have come to know from OhmTech, and to support you through this transition. As part of the acquisition, Mr Bjorn-Olav Ohm, founder of OhmTech, will be joining the Intergraph team in Stavanger, Norway as Technical Director for VVD. Please feel free to contact Mr Ohm here for his upcoming training schedule as well as any with any questions about the acquisition.
To provide all of our current and future clients with the best insight into how PV Elite and VVD will enhance capability coverage even further whilst introducing specific benefits for the user, Intergraph will host a Webinar on 16th April 2015.
